Harrison and Hetherington Middleton on Teesdale Mart presented 6008 uncrossed registered and unregistered swaledale ewes and gimmer shearlings.

Sheep were presented in good bloom, strong interest was shown in the quality pens resulting in an overall average price of £56.50 which was £30.60 higher than the corresponding sale in 2000.
