On Thursday 26th September 2002, at Kirkby Stephen, Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their annual Prize Show and Sale of 3761 Swaledale Gimmer Lambs, 1315 Crossed Swaledale and other breeds of ewes and 151 Rams.

The show of Swaledale Gimmer lambs was sponsored by Eden Farm Supplies and judged by Mr W Coulthard, Davygill who made the following awards:- 1st R Marwood & Son, Long Green, £200 to JA Davies, Lockthwaite. 2nd R Marwood & Son, £95 Mr Edmondson. 3rd G Birbeck, Manor Court, £140 to GR Brass, Bridge End.
