Shearling Gimmers and Horned Ewe Sale

On Thursday 26th September 2002, Harrison & Hetherington, Carlisle held a catalogued sale of 4752 Breeding Sheep incorporating the Annual Horned Ewe sale, the second main sale of Greyface Mule and Continental Gimmer Shearlings, also Breeding Rams.

Horned ewes were forward in good condition and trade was good throughout well above vendors expectations. The second sale of shearling gimmers met a bouyant trade with many lots showing arise of £10 on the first sale.
