NEWCASTLETON

On Tuesday 1st October 2002, Harrison & Hetherington, Newcastleton held their annual ewe sale followed by the second sale of ewe lambs and store lambs.

A select crowd of buyers were in attendance on a glorious day. Draught ewes were not in as good form as previous years due to the wet summer conditions.

Ewe trade was steady because of this lambs were very good to sell being dearer on the first sale.
