On Friday, 11th June 2004 Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly sale of beef breeding cattle.

Customers were again out in large number at the June sale of beef breeding cattle. The quality of stock on offer was not up to the standards of the May sale however first class units once again met remarkable trade topping at £1520 for a marvelous Limousin heifer and claf consigned by Messrs Hall of Prior Hall.

Mr B Hall of Ainstable Hall topped at £1500 with a wonderful Limousin cow and calf.

Prices regularly exceeded £1200 however several buyers were unable to satisfy their requirements.

In calf cows and heifers met with selective demand topping at £800 from The Flatt.
