On Tuesday 29th October 2002, Harrison & Hetherington, Newcastleton held their annual sale of Blue Grey Suckled and Bulling Heifers at Newcastleton Mart.

All heifers were well sought after, and in attendance were many new buyers together with the presence of regular customers. Bidders paid much attention to the ages of cattle due to the over thirty months scheme.
