On Friday 4th October 2002, Harrison & Hetherington conducted their monthly sale of 650 breeding cows and heifers with calves or in calf and bulling heifers.

A nice show of cattle were forward and buyers from throughout Scotland and the North of England bid freely and as a result an excellent trade ensured. Top price on the day was £1420 for a Belgian Blue heifer with a bull calf at foot from Mr CW Thompson, Low Rigg Farm, Walton, Brampton.
