On Saturday, 11th December 2004 Harrison & Hetherington conducted the displenishing sale of Farm Implements and machinery and breeding sheep on behalf of Mesrs T & A Kitching, Gunnerwell Farm, Newby, Penrith.
Leading sheep prices:- Texel Ram, £250. In lamb ewes, Suffolk, £98 & 82, Greyface, £92 & £88, Texel, £86, Cheviot, £78.
The quality of machinery attracted a huge crowd drawn from throughout the Country. The prices right from the very start were excellent with a brisk bidding ensuring a marvellous atmosphere and a good trade throughout.
