REPORT: On Tuesday 21st October 2003, Harrison & Hetherington Limited held a farm sale on behalf of the late Mr David Palmer. A small collection of tools and implements followed by crop attracted a large crowd of people on a wonderful Autumn day. Trade was sound with all items well sold.
Leading prices :- £1100 Leyland Tractor, £480 Renault Van, £420 & £320 Poly Tunnel, £300 Fahr Mower, £280 International Baler, £220 & £210 Sheep Creep, £160 Gemini Hayturner, £160 Hut. Hay crop made £2830.
Fiat Fiorino, 1.7l diesel van, M reg (M736 SCP) 1 year MOT; Leyland tractor 262-2wd (4373hrs); Deutz KM24CR mower; International baler 440 all-twine baler; Gemini hay turner; bale elevator; 2 bale sledges; back end loader with muck fork; bale spike (3 point linkage); 14ft bale trailer; sheep trailer; electric saw bench; diesel tank.
