Saughtreegate Farm Sale

The reputation of the Maughan family in the agricultural world ensured a huge crowd of neighbours, friends and farming colleagues drawn from throughout the United Kingdom attended the farm displenishing sale.

The implements and machinery were presented in immaculate condition, bidders competed strongly to give a buoyant trade. Highlights of the sale included the top draw of empty greyface hoggs which were very keenly sought after selling to a very respective £85. Overall the sale was exceptional, as good weather, good company and buoyant trade combined to make a truly memorable occasion.
