A sale of farm machinery, implements and small tools was held on Thursday 22nd November 2001 at Borderway Motor Auctions when auctioneers Harrison & Hetherington Limited held the sale on behalf of Messrs TM & JD Dickinson (t/a MA Palmer & Son).

The sale attracted a large turnout of friends and neighbours and prices throughout attained a very brisk trade.

Implements - Marshall tanker £1,700, Marshall spreader £1,300, Yamaha bike £850, livestock trailer £800, haybob £780, flat trailer £500, Vari-spreader £420, feed trailer £360, Grays roller £350, PZ mower £310, cattle crush £300, post knocker £300, cement mixer £210, auger £190, chain saw £140.


Tractors - Case 4230 £10,000, Case XL and Quickie loader £7,100.
