HELEN CROWNED SHOWMANSHIP CHAMPION

Helen Eastham from Preston, Lancashire, was awarded Borderway UK Dairy Expo Showmanship Champion on Friday 2nd March by competition judge Brad Sayles, Ontario.

The 21 year-old, who owns her own herd under the Tristar prefix, took the Senior showmanship title earlier in the day before receiving the overall Championship title. Reserve Senior title was awarded to Hannah Slack, Derbyshire.

Intermediate Champion was Charlotte Andrews, Derbyshire, with Karen Hunter,Shotts, Reserve. Junior Showmanship Champion title was awarded to Andrew Struthers, Ayrshire and Reserve Jennifer Veitch, Ayrshire.

In the International Youth Clipping Championship judged by Erica Rijneveld, Holland, Champion was awarded to James Doherty, Cheshire, and Reserve Champion to Roi Fernandez, Spain.
