Middleton in Teesdale Prize Show & Sale of Store Cattle

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their Annual February Prize Show & Sale of 385 Store Cattle at Middleton in Teesdale Mart on the 14th February, which met a total clearance.

The ringside was packed with purchasers, many having travelled a long distance. The overall average rose by £225 from the corresponding sale in 2011.

The majority of the cattle were only 6-8 months old. Bullocks averaged £924 and Heifers £857

The show kindly sponsored by Eden Farm Supplies, I’Anson Bros Ltd, Forresters Hotel, Allflex, Minsups Ltd., Novartis Animal Health was judged by Mr Stephen Graham who made the following awards:-
