At Borderway Mart on Wednesday 1st September 2010 Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store cattle. An average quality show with buyers not as numerous because of the weather with all classes of stock tending to be easier on the week.

On Wednesday 1st September at their Borderway Mart, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their weekly sale of weanlings. Once again a good show of 230 weanlings were forward with trade being good for all quality lots.

On Wednesday 1st September 2010 Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of calves. A good show of 261 calves were on offer. All classes were good to sell with a similar trade to recent weeks being achieved. Topping at £420 was a Limousin bull calf from East Newbiggin Hall Farm. British Friesian topped at £175 for a pen of bull calves from Messrs Jenkinson, Fordsyke, Scaleby.
