At Broughton on Tuesday 16th February Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly sale of store cattle.
A small offering of excellent quality show of cattle were forward for sale and trade throughout met a strong selling trade.

Leading prices: Steers - £880, £800 (x2) Newholme Farm, £780 (x2), £750 (x2) Silverhow Farm, £650, £620 Wood House, £640 Croglin Hurst.
Heifers - £790 (x4) Silverhow Farm, £550, £510, £500 Townend Farm, £450, £430 Croglin Hurst, £415 Seaton Hall Farm.
