EVENING BULL SALE
The bull sale, as unpredictable as ever, comprised a wonderful variety of genetics from pure American Holsteins to 100% British Friesians.
The catalogue was studied by purchases to the extent that provided the bull itself has good robust conformation, emphasis was placed on the dams side of the pedigree having longevity and high components and milk.
Top price of 5600gns was for a handsome, stretchy well built son of Braedale Goldwyn from three generation of Excellent, 5% cows of the Kitty family. Bred by James and Louise Wilson of Evening Hill Farm, Thursby the bull was out of the homebred Evening Storm Kitty EX93 and was honourable mention in the show and now joins the herd of MJ Wilson, Gate Farm, Uldale.
