On Wednesday 10th March Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of calves. A larger show of 285 calves were forward and sold to a fantastic trade which continues week on week. All classes were very good to sell with a larger proportion of black and white calves being forward. Topping at £415 was an excellent British Blue heifer calf. Many good quality continent x bred calves easily exceeding the £300 mark. Top priced Holstein bull at £205 was from Mr Wilson, Gate Farm, Uldale who also consigned a ring full of excellent black & white calves selling at £185 each.
