Lockerbie Store Lambs

At Lockerbie on Tuesday 12th October 2010 Harrison & Hetherington held its now Annual second major show and sale of Hill Cheviot store lambs which sold incredibly well, the best seen so far this year. Purchasers and vendors travelled far and wide to secure lambs from this top quality sale at Lockerbie.

The excellent quality of sheep forward resulted in a day’s top price of £61 for second prize South Country Cheviots from one of the top supporters of the Mart, Messrs Elliot, Burnfoot of Ewes, Langholm. Texel x lambs from Messrs Henderson, Whitehill, Corrie topped this section at £56.
