Borderway Beef Breeding Cattle
Friday 12th November 2010

At Borderway Mart on Friday 12th November Harrison & Hetherington held their sale of cows and calves. A large show of cows and heifers with calves at foot with buyers being very selective and only quality being good to sell. Everything else was cheaper.

Leading prices:
Cows & Calves: Limousin £2550, £1980 Castlewigg Farm, £1900 Wreay Hall.
Heifers & Calves: £2150 Coombe Crag, £2120 High Knipe, £2000 Colt Park.
Bulling Heifer: Limousin £980 (x3) Castlewigg Farm, £970 (x4), £940 (x3), £910 (x4), £900 (x3) Middle Farm.
