At Borderway Mart on Friday 22nd October Harrison & Hetherington held their sale of cows and calves. A great show of 280 cows and heifers and calves were forward with a massive ring of buyers.
M/s Fisher of
Castlewigg Farm sold an outstanding run of 84 Limousin cows and calves
to average £1512 and topped at £2550 bought by M/s Graham of Miller Hill,
Gilsland. Then at £2500 M/s Stewart of Challochmun, Glenluce. M/s Towers & Partners
of Colt Park run of heifers and calves topped at £2550 bought by M/s
Benson Horrace.
