Kepculloch hits top spot

The Border and Lakeland August show and sale took place on the Wednesday 19th August within Borderway. The sale ring was full to capacity proving that demand is still high for freshly calved animals, the trade though was again slightly back on the month probably reflecting in the continued downward pressure on milk price. Dairy farmers also need to also remember the slogan “Support British Dairy Farmers” and buy British cattle and resist the temptation to import Dutch or German cattle.
