Hallington equals centre record for Angus at 10,000gns. Father and son team, Alan and Stephen Lawson of South Farm, Newcastle secured the top price and equalled the centre record price of 10,000gns for the homebred 25 month bull Hallington Walter F118. A son of Blelack Prince Consort and out of a Blelack Wistaria, a Blelack Blacksmith daughter, he caught the eye of Forfar breeder Tom Rennie to join his Mosston Muir herd. This is only the second bull that Alan and Stephen have sold at auction of their Aberdeen Angus herd.
