PRIZE SHOW & SALE OF SUCKLED CALVES
SATURDAY 3rd NOVEMBER 2007

At Borderway Mart on Saturday 3rd November 2007 Harrison and Hetherington held their Annual prize show and sale of 1236 suckled calves.

A great show of calves were forward with trade being tremendous throughout. The pre sale show was kindly judged by Messrs Jones of Ruthin who awarded the Championship to a cracking Belgian Blue cross heifer consigned by Mr A Vance of Bridgehouse, Whithorn which later sold for £1000.

Reserve Champion was awarded to a very smart Belgian Blue steer consigned by Messrs Thompson of East Unthank , Plenmeller which sold for £800.
