SALE OF STORE CATTLE

At Broughton Auction on Tuesday 19th April 2007 Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual April Fair Show and Sale of Store Cattle.

A fantastic entry of 727 store cattle were forward. Trade was fantastic all cattle big and small being sold at prices well above vendors expectations. A great show of cattle were presented for the pre sale and the judge Mr Colin Oliver of Durham did a marvellous job in awarding the Championship to a superb Charolais steer consigned by Mr AJ Clark, Buckamn Hall, Thwaites which later sold for £840 purchased by the judge. Reserve Champion was awarded to Messrs Richardson of Angerton, Foxfield for a Belgian Blue heifer which sold for £670.
