SUMMER SALE OF HORSES, PONIES, CARRIAGES, TRAPS & TACK

A special summer sale of horses, ponies, carriages, traps and tack attracted a hugh crowd of enthusiasts to Borderway on Friday 20th July 2007.

This event proved to be another successful equine sale with both vendors and buyers coming from as far away as Northern Ireland, Northumberland, Lancashire, Stranraer and into the Borders.

Leading the sale at 1,750gns was a skewbald gelding shown by Mr J Donogue of Todhills. Following at 1,550gns was a 15.3hh grey gelding consigned by Mr N Weatherson of Hawick. Selling for 1,420gns was a Section D Welsh Cob 3 year old filly shown by Matthew White of Moffat.
