At Lockerbie on Monday 8th October 2007, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, sold 1203 top Cheviot store lambs and North Country Cheviot store lambs. Trade reflected the shocking state the sheep industry at present, with prices £5 to £7 back on last year.

At the show before hand Mr R Eardley awarded the first prize to Mr J Paterson, Hopsrig with 92 lambs which sold at £28.50. Also selling at £28.50 were M/s Elliot, Caretrigg. M/s Common, Crossdykes cashed at £28 with Cossarhill, Wardlaw and Carterton all selling at £27.50.
