At Lockerbie on Tuesday 11th September 2007, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd sold 2846 breeding sheep. Half Bred Gimmers sold to £90 from Mr P Armstrong, High Moat, Longtown, Ross Bros, Wardhead, Strichen sold their top pen at £88. Half Bred ewe lambs were a much better trade than anticipated with the top lots up on the year and the average only 50p down to level at £50.50. Once again it was Mr P Armstrong, High Moat who came up trumps enjoying on fantastic trade levelling at £70. He also sold the second top price at £66. More pens of half bred ewe lambs could have been sold such was the demand. Suffolk x Half Bred ewe lambs sold to £56 from Mr R Strawhorn, Broomhillbank and to £55 from Mr Nairn, Cumleys.
