Horned Ewe Sale

On Monday 15th October Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Horned ewe sale along with other breeding ewes. The Horned ewe sale was topped by a fantastic pen of shearlings from Messrs Armstrong of Shankfield Head. All classes sold above expectations.

Leading horned ewe Prices: Swaledale, £48 Shankfield Head, £28 The Beeches, £24, £20 The Knarr, £20 Broadmea.

Shearling gimmers – Dutch Texel, £63, £50 (x2) Greenside Keep, £50 Lesson Hall. Greyface, £56.50, £55, £52, £51 Drove Inn, £52.50 Scarrowmanwick, £51.50 Field Head. Texel, £52 Croft House.

Ewes- Halfbred, £36, £35, £31 Scotby Ghyll Farm. Greyface, £36, £33 Knottyholm.

Ewe Lambs, £30.50 Field Head.
