On Friday, 6th July 2007 Harrison & Hetherington conducted their monthly sale of Beef breeding cattle.

Top quality units were in short supply however the massive ringside of buyers bid strongly to ensure that trade for all classes of stock was most satisfactory.

The top price of the day being £2000 for an excellent Belgian Blue cow and calf consigned by Skirwith Hall Farms, Skirwith. The sale also included a part dispersal of stock cows from Messrs Weightman, Rossgill Hall, these were shown in terrific condition being keenly sought after by both local and distant bidders.
