SALE OF PRIME & STORE CATTLE
21st FEBRUARY 2006

At Broughton Auction on Tuesday 21st February, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held its Annual February Show and sale of cattle incorporating the North West Limousin Club Show.

The Judge Mr Mark Harryman, Keskadale Farm did a great job and after deliberating on Cow, Prime and Store cattle classes he awarded his Champion to RA & C Benson, Gamswell Farm, Ulverston for their Limousin Cross Steer, which later went on to sell for £820 to the Judge.

Reserve Champion was a Limousin Heifer also from RA & C Benson, Gamswell Farm, which made £600 to Mr J J Crichton, Loughrigg Farm, Egremont.

On the whole cattle were a roaring trade with the Prime cattle and Cast Cow sections both selling at fantastic rates.
