Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their Annual February Prize Show & Sale of Store & Breeding Cattle at Kirkby Stephen Mart on Monday 20th February 2006 where there was an entry of 531 head including 33 Cast & OTM Feeding Cows & Heifers.

The show was kindly sponsored by Dugdales Nutrition, Clitheroe & judging was undertaken by Mr J Wilkinson. The judges pick for champion was a Belgian Blue cross Heifer from Messrs Brass, Bridge End, which was later sold for £700 to the judge. Store cattle were extremely well sought after with nearly 50 successful purchasers on the day, producing an overall average up £20 on the year. The cast cows were up by 5p/kg on the previous sale to average 71.5p/kg with a top price of £680.20 from Walburn Hall Farms, Downholme, Richmond.
