Middleton in Teesdale – Prize Show & Sale of Store Cattle

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held a their February Prize Show and Sale of 341 Store Cattle at Middleton in Teesdale on Tuesday 7th February 2006.

A good show of cattle was judged by Mr M Hallam, Derbyshire. Sponsors were Eden Farm Supplies (Brough). The Champion was a Limousin x Heifer exhibited by Messrs J C & J White, Rigg Farm, which was purchased by Mr S Hough for £4,400, which is a Middleton in Teesdale Mart Record and also a record for Harrison & Hetherington Group’s Network of Marts.

Cattle were a firm trade throughout averaging £436.50 (-£30.22 on the year)
