Commercial Charollais Rams sold to a top 450gns at Carlisle on Friday 25th August 2006 at the Annual Autumn Show & Sale on behalf of the Society.

Supreme Champion Lot 21 from Deborah Whitcher

Cumbrian buyers H. & A.T. Threlkeld, of Satterthwaite, Ulverston placed the top bid for the Supreme Champion shearling ram, an Inglis Cymro son, consigned from Deborah Whitcher of Whenby, Yorkshire.

Reserve Champion Lot 30 from Ben Radley

The same purchasers paid 400gns for the Reserve Supreme Champion a ram lamb from Ben Radley, of Dumfries, a Lincs Flash son, the lamb had claimed a first prize at Dumfries Show earlier this year.

Four Lots later another bid of 400gns bought another ram from W.H. & F. Wood of Workington, West Cumbria. A Mortimer Alfie son this entry was from the Wraycastle Flock of J.A. & R. Geldard & Sons of Levens, Cumbria.
