• Loose housed
• Commercial managed on a basic ration of grass silage and concentrate in parlour
• High percentage August/September calving
• Plus 7 in calf heifers due April

A herd of strong dairy cows mostly calved back in September.  Top price was for a freshly calved cow in her 3rd lactation she joins the herd of M G Harper, West House, Dearham for £720.  Three more animals sold for £700 to local farmers.
