Newcastleton Auction Mart

On Tuesday 29th August 2006 Newcastleton Mart held their opening sheep sale of the season with a great entry of stock looking well on a glorious sunny day.

The sale was very well supported by Local and distant buyers. All sections of stock sold exceptionally well with all vendors pleased.

Mule ewe lambs averaged £53.00, Stonegarthside 220 averaged £62.10, The Side averaged £53.20
