Lazonby Alston Moor Mule Gimmer Lambs

Harrison & Hetherington held the Alston Moor Sale of 20,375 head
of Mule Gimmer Lambs at Lazonby Mart on Wednesday 27th September 2006,
where trade levelled at £55.07 per head, down 98p on 2005.
The
Lazonby Branch of NEMSA held a prize show & sale for members lambs
with cash prizes kindly donated by HSBC Bank, LA Smith Livestock Scanning & Askham
Oil Supplies with judging carried out by Mr R Wilson, Armathwaite & Mr
T Harrison, Worcester.

Lambs in general were a good level trade all day long with middle
runs easily sold to a large crowd of bidders, resulting in a fantastic
number of 170 being successful in purchasing lambs to be distributed
to Aberdeenshire in the North and to all areas of the south of England,
including the Isle of Wight.
