BORDERWAY MULE SHEARLING GIMMERS

On Monday 4th September 2006 at Borderway Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual show & sale of 3042 Mule Gimmer Shearlings.

This years event was kindly sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health with Linda Taylor their representative presenting the prizes for the show.

Mr William Evans our judge awarded the Champion pen of twenty shearlings to Messrs Ridsdale of Yew Tree Farm, Calthwaite he later sold them for £125 purchased by the judge.

The sale of sheep was well supported by both distance and local interests and averaged a pleasing £88.06 (plus £1.42).
