On Friday, 18th August 2006 Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly sale of beef breeding cattle. 

Cattle sold to a larger ringside of buyers due to the better weather conditions and more grass keep.

A dispersal from Messrs Brough, Bush on Lyne, Longtown was well attended by local buyers and those further a field resulting in a sensible trade for good cattle.

Norman Warwick of Chapelhills also had forward his first part dispersal of Aberdeen Angus cows with calves, selling well.

The commercial section followed on with an average show but a sound trade.
