On Friday, 28th July  Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly sale of beef breeding cattle. 

The exceptionally dry weather and shortage of grass keep contributed to an anticipated reduction in prices for beef breeding cattle being down on the previous sale, however a good ringside of buyers  bid strongly and as a result most vendors left the ringside well satisfied with the prices received.  The top price of the day being £1300 for a Belgian bred unit consigned by Messrs Wharton, High Hall Farm, Little Strickland.
