KirkbyOnce again it was a cracking sale at Carlisle as some of the best female Bluefaced Leicesters went under the hammer. A bumper crowd saw a bumper trade with averages rising across the ewes and gimmer section. [report]

 

Knockenjig Dispersal

The dispersal of the Knockenjig flock of unregistered Suffolk sheep belonging to David Dickie of Sanquhar was held at Carlisle on Monday 23rd January. All classes of sheep were well presented and attracted strong interest from buyers and as a result prices were buoyant throughout. [report]
