| Following the great success of the third Borderway Agri Expo show at the end of October 2009 a total sum raised for charity by an auction and donations was £4,800 which was shared between the Great North Air Ambulance and Macmillan Nurses. On Tuesday, 2nd February Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 367 Store Cattle at Lockebie Mart. All classes met a buoyant demand with well grown stirks particularly dear. Bullocks sold to £1100 for Charolais from M/s TR & S Hyslop of West Lanegate and to 218p/kilo from Mr James Halliday of Paulsland. [report]

from across the country ensured all quality machinery sold to exceed
